I always try and visit libraries - see my pic from the Erin Szabo public library in Budapest for example : http://www.flickr.com/photos/juliac2006/231942403/ but these bookshops look equally amazing - I love numbers 1-3 in the list - and the one in Mexico. 
Also, I used to work in a wonderful bookshop - The Old Hall in Brackey, UK - lots of rambling rooms in an old house - must revisit one day and see if it is still as good as I remember.
